BRENTWOOD, TN – Baker Group Strategies today announced that Anna Katherine White, who has previously served as Manager of Public Affairs and Media at Baker Group Strategies since 2023, has been promoted to Communications Director. Todd Rapp is joining Baker Group Strategies as Deputy Communications Director. Rapp most recently served as Deputy Press Secretary for the Tennessee Senate Republican Caucus.

Anna Katherine White
Anna Katherine White served as Manager of Public Affairs and Media for Baker Group Strategies. Anna Katherine managed media for Baker Group clients and developed and executed expert, strategic public affairs campaigns.
Before joining Baker Group, Anna Katherine worked for the Tennessee House Republican Caucus as both the Executive Assistant for Policy and Research and Senior Legislative Advisor. Before her role with the Caucus, she worked as a Legislative Assistant to Representative Mark Cochran.
Anna Katherine grew up in Columbia, Tennessee, and resides in Nashville.
Todd Rapp
A native of Hendersonville, North Carolina, Todd graduated cum laude from East Tennessee State University in 2023 with a degree in Political Science. Following graduation, he served as Campaign Manager for Tennessee Senate Republican Caucus Chairman Ken Yager during the 2024 election cycle. Most recently, Todd served as Deputy Press Secretary for the Tennessee Senate Republican Caucus, where he managed communications, drafted legislative messaging, and supported public affairs efforts for Senate Republicans.
