Abigail is the vice president at Baker Group, where she develops and executes comprehensive, strategic messaging, communications, and earned media campaigns for state, federal, and corporate clients.

Recently, Abigail served as a spokesman for the Georgia Republican Party during the Senate runoff elections. In 2020, she also served as a Senior Advisor for Bill Hagerty’s successful U.S. Senate campaign, where she helped oversee day to day operations and advised on communications strategy. Subsequently, she was named one of Business Insider’s “20 Sought-After Female Political Strategists To Watch.

Prior to joining Baker Group Strategies in 2019, Abigail served as communications director for Marsha Blackburn’s historic Senate campaign, where she developed and oversaw all national and in-state communications strategy. She continues to oversee Senator Blackburn’s political communications.

She began her career as Deputy Press Secretary for Virginia Governor Bob McDonnell and worked on Capitol Hill as Communications Director for Congressman Robert Hurt (R-Virginia), Congressman Jack Bergman (R-Michigan), and Congresswoman Mimi Walters (R-California). Abigail left the Hill in 2017 to serve as Deputy Communications Director for Ed Gillespie’s gubernatorial campaign.

A native of Virginia Beach, Abigail is a graduate of the University of Virginia. She now resides in Nashville with her dog, Josie. She is active in the Junior League of Nashville and serves as an intern on Book’em’s Board of Directors.
