Nettie Taylor Barbour

Nettie Taylor is the Deputy Director of Rapid Response and Social Media for Baker Group Strategies. She helps craft, initiate and manage rapid responses for Baker Group Strategies’ clients, while collaborating with the communications team. She is responsible for developing organic and effective messaging strategies through social media for local, state, federal, nonprofit and corporate clients. Nettie Taylor also helps create and maintain communications plans and social media calendars for clients.

Prior to joining Baker Group Strategies, Nettie Taylor interned for Capitol Resources, a full-service government relations and public affairs firm. While interning at Capitol Resources, she also worked with their sister company, Bullseye Public Affairs, where she learned more about marketing and strategic messaging from a political standpoint.

Nettie Taylor graduated from the University of Mississippi in 2021 with a degree in Integrated Marketing Communications, and a specialization in Social Media.
